Pretty cool motor a little bit tricky to install, but really reliable

My 11 yr old son and I installed this kit on my 30 yr old mountain bike. It gave us the opportunity to learn about wheel hub bearings, how clutches work, two cycle engine operation and how to shape metal to fit the application. We had to modify the chain tensioner angle to match the chain. We also had to shape the exhaust to match the frame and get out of the way of the pedals. He installed the new brakes by himself and I helped him adjust them. He’s already put a gallon of gas through the engine and it runs great.

This is the second project for me. Going to this 2 stroke from a 4 stroke after 3 transmissions (and many clutches) on the 4 stroke during 1,818miles of use. The 2 stroke was a lot easier to mount and set up. It ran perfect on first start and so far I give it two thumbs up. Super glad to be away from that centrifugal clutch! It’s quite a bit lighter too, and I noticed it right away.

My stage 3 kit came Fed Ex a few weeks ago and the only problem i had with the kit was the hardware for the rag joints i went and bought new nuts and bolts at the hardware store and that solved the problem I'm happy with my kit it fired up right away on the first try i used to order my kits from a different vendor but now i think I'll do my business with bikeberry

This thing came fast direct to me. All parts were there and I had an amazing time putting this together with my 8 year old daughter. We learned a lot about motorcycles and had a blast. Customer service was too notch. I just ordered another for the wife.

Received the engine kit. Everything was there. Some of the stuff they show you in the video has been upgraded, like the snap ring in the engine, just twist it in. Took maybe 4 or 5 hours. I used a huffy cruiser bike from walmart.fired right up the 2nd try. Everything looks nice and I'm very satisfied. I just fired it up and everything works.

Delivery was speedy and packaging was safe and sound. I had little to no issues with the pets and instillation, the only ones being missing the piston retainer clips and that the fuel petcock kept leaking no matter what and it must have had a bad seal ( I ended up just JB welding it open so no leaks but always set to ON) I’ve been riding the bike all over town and it feels amazing!

Great kit to get started with motorized bikes. Bike started right up upon installation and bikeberry’s customer support network is phenomenal ,they respond timely and we’re helpful every time. Will definitely purchase from them again.

Pleased with packaging, delivered timely, decent quality. Only things that need to be added; 4 1/4 inch hose clamps, the front engine mount is a garage door bracket( which with stage kits should be the machined cnc clamp), a master chain tool and master chain link and the engine mounted(clutch case) tensioner/guide. Yes with an extra $75 or so but so worth it. Maybe options like main jet kits ect. before final check out. Other than that take your time brake her in wet on 3rd needle valve slot. After brake in change out main jet to 68 and drop the needle to the first or second slot.

Shipped pretty fast. Took right under 3 hours for my 12 year old son to put everything together (he's pretty handy and his bike had a motor previously so he was somewhat familiar) The motor started right away and runs perfectly. Only complaint is the fuel on/off valve for the gas tank leaked from multiple places, luckily we had a spare from the old bike. Awesome kit for the price. He's really enjoying this bike.

Nice engine, only issue I had was i stripped out one of the head bolts and had to order another one. Frame was not ideal but with modifications and some grinding the engine fit. Carb is offset and the mounts are cut down. What do you expect from a $100 (delivered) bike? Cruising the neighborhood!

Engine kit was great . The only problem was the kit was missing retainer clip for piston. So I had to order some. This was my second engine kit from you guys. I will say the quality of parts have got better. Glad I bought this kit!

My new motor kit is doing well. Speedy little motor. Although when faced with hills it falls a little short. I suspect the issue is mine. With the close wheel base there's a little problem with fit. It's a little close. The chain rides very close to the rear mount. So much that chain snags on the mount destroying the chain . The frame size is the culprit. The motor mounts high in the frame making it a little top heavy. Bringing the chain to the mount. For those people considering a motor kit I say get it. It's worth it. Price is good equipment is top rate. Service is exceptional.
Just beware of smaller bikes. The fit is very close. When I approached a hill even a slight incline takes all the power I believe that's related to chain tension. Since then simple adjustments add power. I live in a region of steep grades. Tall hills... Influencing me to get a little bigger motor to take these grades easier. the people the products and prices all exceptional. I don't buy from anyone else

First of all, it doesn’t fit every bike but if it does it fit it’s easy to install. It started first try and had more power than I thought. Everything you need is with it. All around your paying a few extra bucks for a more certain product.
