If you’re having trouble getting your mini dirt bike started, then it may be time to replace the 2-Stroke Gas Motorized Mini Dirt Pit Bike CDI Electron Ignition Coil. The CDI (capacitor discharge ignition) system is a series of parts (including the electron ignition coil) that make up the bikes ignition mechanism. In order for the bike to start, the ignition coil needs to create a surge of DC voltage that will trigger the spark plug. If the coil is malfunctioning then the bike won’t be able to start smoothly or consistently. Fortunately, ignition coils can be easily replaced, so you can get on with riding without interference.
Note: These CDI ignition coils are best suited for 49cc 2-Stroke Mini Dirt Bikes. They do not work with 48cc or 66/80cc motorized bicycle engine kit motors.
