It works great however the batteries love too come loose on bumpy roads causing it to shut off
Good looking light only one little blimish in the chrome .I wish the mounting bracket was a little stronger but overall worth the money!

We investigated your comment about the batteries and you're absolutely right, the headlight uses a 9V battery and not 2 AA batteries. The manufacture had upgraded the design to incorporate a 9V instead of the previous design with the AA batteries. This allows for a higher output of light. The description has been updated. good light I bought the incandescent light and it wasn't bright enough to see when cars are blinding you the whole ride. To increase my lights output I swapped it with 6vbulbs and wired it to the engine on my bike.I will leave some instructions on how to neatly adapt your head light.1. Remove the screw on the side to open the light up2. After opening it remove the lights and replace them with 6 volt lights 3 now use a drill to make a hole near the back where ever it will suit it best based on the mount position of the light ( make sure the hole is a little bigger than the wire that you will use)4. Strip the wires your using and put the wires through the small holes on the battery case ( the positive and negative wires are connected to those holes and it is easier to solder the wires if you take out the battery case via the nut on the bottom mount)5. After soldering the wires put them through the hole you drilled and make sure there isn't any possibility of a short occurring then put the light back together and mount it to the bike.6. Run one wire to the engines white wire and the other wire to either the blue or black wire and mace sure to insulate each junction.7. If you have the black light you can buy black caulking and neatly seal the hole you drilled to prevent water from corroding the inside of the light.8. Make sure the light is in the off position before starting the engine ( this makes it easier to start the engine because the light takes power away from the spark plug)9. Start the engine and turn the light on. Adjustment of the idle screw may be necessary for the light can bog the engine at low rpms an it will turn off. If you want even brighter light you could try using the original 3 volt bulbs. They might burn out faster with the higher voltage. I haven't tried it yet. Now this light is bright enough to see the road at least 40 feet in front of you
This was a perfect retro looking touch for my custom bike. This was a perfect retro looking touch for my custom bike. It has a curious projector beam tint to the light it makes. If you turn both led lights on at the same time which it can do, you get plenty of light. I'll likely order more of these for other bike builds. They are cool.
