[****] (yours truly) ordered the ignition module many months ago. It was out of stock, then, and I was supposedly put on a list to receive notice when the item was again available.
Now, I noticed ALL providers of parts for the particular engine involved (mine) were also out of stock. (I assume the parts sat, hostage, on one or more of the 80 container vessels in West Coast ports.)
Because this needed ignition part was critical in the completion of a numerous years long build project, I would occasionally check the sites of the other ‘big players’ to monitor the situation.
I am grateful to have finally received the needed component, but not because I was notified of it’s resumed availability (I was not). By routine searches I found it listed on your site as ‘in stock’, and ordered one. (I will be ordering a couple of more in a month’s time, just to have ‘in case’.
Yours truly, Pete the Plumber (PeterHemp.com) is in a similar position concerning an NTS carburetor which is out of stock. (He wants to purchase a couple of those, also.). Hopefully our longshoreman remain energized and the container of carbs will be surfacing soon.
