Our new upgraded alloy clutch lever includes an insert that sits against the lever when pulled in. Older clutch levers have a simple button that's pressed down to lock. However, this button can often slip if you hit a bump or a rock on the road. This lever fights against this and keeps clutch lever taught when you need it, keeping it disengaged as long as you need it!

I like the long lever but prefer the button lock as the lever lock is a little clumsy to use.

Good for dual brake
Control Works great. I'm a light rider and I'm able to accelerate from a dead stop or slow crawl with ease. Gives me better control when engaging the clutch with the longer lever . It's a good upgrade over the brake lever style that comes with most engine kits.

Sweet! For a manual clutch,this is the only kind of lever to have.It has two locking positions,so if carefully adjusted,it allows just a little bit of slippage when half-engaged,which smooths the transition from coasting to a full stop.With the lever in the halfway lock position,you can coast up to a stop without throttle or brake,until you slow to about 5 MPH (8kph), then you can either pull the clutch in all the way to keep the engine idling,or let it stall the engine..Then,to start up again,if the engine is idling,you can pedal-start like normal,or race the engine and wear out the clutch faster,but get a quicker launch. If the engine is stopped,you just pull the lever in all the way and pedal up to speed,as if the engine was cold.This lever was ingeniously engineered!I will be buying a few spares,as I build more manual clutched engine driven bikes.Thanks!
Is this for 3/4 or 1" handlebars? Do you have any one inch options?

The locking hook alloy clutch lever are made for .75 inch handlebars
my bars are 1" diameter. I just snapped the original clutch lever bracket trying to open it up more. Will this unit fit a 1" bar? Is there an adapter or other solution?
