How many woodruff keys do I get in one order I need 4

BikeBerry

Hello, Thank you for contacting BikeBerry.com! 1 Woodruff Key is included in each package, we hope this information was helpful. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Is there a difference between the flat key and the woodruff key, or can either be used on the clutch shaft?

BikeBerry

Great Question! Our manufacturers tend to switch between using flat keys and woodruff keys on the clutch shaft. That being said, they are not interchangeable. If your clutch shaft was sent with woodruff keys, that is all that will fit since the flat keys are slightly wider. Best thing to do is check what you have, there should be two flat key or woodruff keys on your shaft and checking which you have will tell you what you need.

If you're from Hawaii or Alaska, you may have found that very few e-bike retailers or brands will ship e-bikes to Hawaii and Alaska from the US mainland. And this is because shipping ebikes to Hawaii and Alaska can presents unique challenges:

Air shipping regulations for Lithium Batteries: E-bikes by nature all have large Lithium Ion batteries. Unfortunately, shipping of Lithium Ion batteries are regulated by the US department of Transportation (DOT) and have their own Hazardous Material Regulations. Because of this, Lithium Ion Batteries over a certain size cannot be shipped via air shipping. Doing so can be met with huge fines and even criminal charges. E-bikes must be shipped via ocean freight. Bikeberry.com now offers E-bike shipping, via ocean freight to all destinations in Hawaii and Alaska.
Logistical Challenges: Because E-bikes have to be shipped via ocean freight, the logistical coordination is difficult. The E-bike must first be shipped to a freight forwarder for prep and loading of the electric bike into a ocean freight container bound for Hawaii and Alaska. Once arrived to the destination, the coordination of pickup and delivery must be completed by an authorized company. Bikeberry.com, now ships hundreds of E-bikes per year to Hawaii and Alaska, and have made the process seamless. The process typically takes just 7-10 days and is handled entirely by the Bikeberry.com team!
Shipping Costs: If you've ever tried to ship an e-bike from the mainland, on your own, you'll likely find that the cost to do so is prohibitive and can cost you $1000 or more. This is because ocean carriers do not generally accept one unit shipments of ebikes and prefer to work with volume retailers. Because Bikeberry.com ships to these destinations in volume, we are able to get highly discounted prices that we are able to pass on to our customers. We charge only $375 for Special Handling Shipping of our Ebikes to Hawaii or Alaska. The $375 shipping cost is for pick up at the local shipping terminal. If you're unable to pick up at the local terminal, additional fees may apply. *Additional shipping costs may apply to remote delivery locations.
Transit Times: For most destinations, transit times are typically 7–10 business days. However, for more remote areas, delivery can take longer—sometimes up to 4 to 10 weeks for extremely remote locations. This is due to varying sailing schedules: most populated locations have 2–3 sailings per week, while others may only have a once-a-month sailing schedule. Because transit depends on these sailing schedules, as well as weather conditions, we do our best to ship your eBike as quickly as possible, but we cannot control the exact timing. Planning ahead ensures your eBike arrives smoothly, even to the most remote destinations.

Bikeberry.com is committed to serving e-bike enthusiasts across the US so residents of Hawaii and Alaska can now enjoy the convenience of e-bike shipping without the usual headaches. Explore our selection and get ready to ride! 🚴♂️🌴🏔️
