Description

The BBR Tuning Stage 1 Bicycle Engine Kit is the perfect engine kit for riders looking for a reliable motor with a little bit of power behind it. This package brings together the ever-dependable BBR Tuning 66/80cc Silver Bicycle engine and the BBR Tuning Billet Aluminium High Compression Cylinder Head to give you a high compression, high performing, and highly reliable engine for your next build.

Engines with Quality

BBR Tuning is known for quality, and their 66/80cc Silver Angle Bicycle engine doesn't disappoint. Unlike other engines out there, BBR Tuning uses only the highest-grade clutch components to make sure your engine engages and disengages properly. They've also installed high quality crank bearings to keep you riding longer than those other motors with cheap Chinese bearings.

A Head That Will Increase Horsepower and More

With the added BBR Tuning Billet Aluminium High Compression Cylinder Head you'll get more horsepower and better cooling out of your engine. With this head you'll increase your compression, which in turn will give you more power. More power means more torque and a little added speed, which is perfect for riders who climb hills or face inclines. Its deep heat fins and low profile will allow your engine to cool off faster and stay cooler when you're riding.

Don't be stuck buy part after part you don't need. If you've got some hills to climb or you just want a cooler running engine, the BBR Tuning Stage 1 Bicycle Engine Kit is made for you. Just bolt on the head, install the motor on your favorite bike, fuel it up, and you're ready to ride

PLEASE NOTE: Top end assembly required for this engine kit.

The BBR Tuning 66/80cc bike engine kit is about 8.5" height 7" length 5" width. The bike engine kit fits on standard, male frames with tubing of 25mm to 29mm in diameter. Larger frame sizes require drilling into bike frame with a stationary bolt and use the universal face plate to mount the front of the engine.

2+ HP (horse power)

25 to 40 mph depending on the gear ratio and weight

Fuel Economy: 100-125 miles per gallon

Installation is a breeze! The rider only needs some basic hardware skills, tools, and around 2-3 hours for installation and fine tuning adjustments (Note: Seller is not responsible for misuse or this kit or any warranty after installation).

Disclosure of accurate engine size: While we have chosen to use the long standing factory branding engine size of "80cc", the true displacement of the bicycle engine is 66cc. Down through the years China bicycle engine manufactures have advertised their biggest engine as 80cc, therefore we have listed them in the same way on our website. However, the bore and stroke of an 80cc being 47x38mm equals 66cc. Therefore the true displacement of the 80cc bike motor is 66cc. In the west, the volume of a cylinder is calculated by using the formula Volume = Pi x Radius Squared x Stroke. However, in the east the displacement of an engine includes the area of the cylinder head's combustion chamber as well as the volume of the cylinder. Therein lies a discrepancy between measuring standards by the manufactures in China with those in the United States. However, all "80cc" engine kits on the market today are actually 66cc in displacement size if measuring by US standards.

Not so great especially at the price of 200$

Copper gasket came damaged, had to order a new one because of a vacuum leak cause of it. Overheats in under 20 minutes to the point of having to let it sit for a half hour or so. And studs are extremely weak, I had to remove the head to replace the copper gasket like said and while undoing the head bolts which were torqued to 9 ft pounds unscrewed from the crankcase.

Spare engine.

I actually bought this kit in order to have a spare engine. I was impressed with the larger diameter mounting studs but also feel that nylon lock nuts should be supplied. The supplied carburetor is better quality then the one I’m currently running so I put that on my current engine. Unfortunately I can’t tell you how it runs but the bore had a nice cross hatch and there was plenty of assembly oil. My only beef is that it came with the high compression head and the bore studs were barely long enough to install it. I had to forgo the lock washer but I use red Loctite anyway. If not for that 5 stars.
