Description

A crucial electrical component for your engine, the 2-Stroke Magneto Loop Set assists with the production of your engine’s spark. Installed onto the crankcase and connected to the CDI and magneto magnet, this part surrounds the magneto magnet as it revolves. The result is the capture of magnetic force which is sent from the loop to the CDI to create your spark. Installation is also quite simple, all you need to do is unbolt your existing loop set, using sandpaper sand down the varnish on your new loop set, ensure your magneto magnet’s keyway is at the one o’clock position, install your new loop set. So, whether you are not getting a spark or are overhauling your engine, the 2-Stroke Magneto Loop Set has you covered.

No bueno Magneto is nice but when mine arrived the black wire was soudered to the side of the magneto and there is no white wire at all. I don't use the white wire but it still didnt come as showed in the picture. Otherwise no problem. Time to go install it!

dont get it wet!! after riding my bike in seattle for a few weeks my bike just quit on me. didnt know why till i read reviewes here that the magneto cant get wet. tested mine an it was dead. ordered one here an got it in 3 days ground shipping. bike works great now! just put colcking in the hole where the wire comes out of the motor! rain goes right in other wise. safe ridin-heeb

How do you test the magneto loop set to determine if,it's okay, or not? I have a multimeter that can check all functions, but need to know method to test it.

To test the magneto loop set, set your multi meter to the ohms setting, then connect the black wire to the black wire of the multimeter and the blue wire to the red wire of the multimeter. You should get a reading of .325-.332 if it is in good condition.

What is the purpose of the white wire?

Mine doesn't have that (just black and blue)

Our Magneto Loop Set has a total of 3 wires, the Blue wire is the positive, the black wire is the negative and the white wire is to run accessories such as lights. We do not recommend using the white wire for accessories, it will draw a lot of power from the engine.
